Andrew Gill’s new domain…

OK, this is the start of my new personal blog…

It has been a long old struggle to grab this domain name (andrewgill.com). It was previously owned by someone in the U.S who traded domain names… he had over 3,000 for sale in just one auction. Apparently he forgot to renew this domain name so it went into redemption… After much waiting (and with the help of a back order from mydaddy.com) I eventually became the domain owner!

Mydaddy.com has often got a bad press but i’ve always found them to be very good for domain registration. Their back order worked for me and their telephone support has always been excellent (even when i phone them at 4am local time). I don’t use mydaddy.com for hosting - just domain registration - do cannot comment about their hosting.
