Apple Store Delivery Times…

This week I ordered the new Macbook at the online Apple Store - the website said 5-7 days for delivery (fair enough as it’s a new product). However, when I got to the Apple checkout the delivery time became over 3 weeks!!

This is not a “one off” either - it’s happened on orders for iMacs and iPods too… Apple say it’s because of the custom configuration options but all these products are standard config so this cannot be true.
